I’m still behind on my blogging But I had to write a new post for this awesome event. I had my first water polo practice here! I am SOOO happy it can’t even be described that I’ve found a place to play. Really. There is no way you can comprehend. I woke my mom up at like 4 am to tell her how happy I was to be playing again (sorry mom, I know you love me because you answer the phone). It was a super chill practice and we mostly just scrimmaged but everyone was really nice and I was given a ride home and offered dinner as well as hugs and a fill-in mother if anything happened while I was here that required that. My shoulders are whining but what else is new? I need to find out if they have an ice machine on deck… I think we’re only practicing once a week (for now at least? Maybe more later? I honestly have no clue. All that matters is that I get to play). But it’s for this thing called Uni games, all the Australian Universities go and compete in a whole bunch of sports. And guess what? It’s in Adelaide this year! And guess what else? They have a water polo competition and a team for Uni Adelaide! And guess what else, else?! It happens before I leave ( I think. I don’t really know. I get to practice at least. And I’m pretty sure the competition is before I leave). Although apparently a lot more drinking and partying goes on than actual playing but hey, I’m alright with that. I just want to PLAYYYYY! which I get to. So all is right with the world again.
