I kind of like it. Also, it&#8217;ll be Meegs instead of Megs as a nickname.<\/li>\n<li>If it can be shortened, it is. Everything has an abbreviation.<\/li>\n<li>Goss &#8211; gossip<\/li>\n<li>Bloke<\/li>\n<li>Dunny &#8211; toilet<\/li>\n<li>Mack, pash &#8211; makeout<\/li>\n<li>You don&#8217;t chug a drink, you scull it<\/li>\n<li>Keen &#8211; as in, I&#8217;m so keen to go out tonight!<\/li>\n<li>Hey is added randomly sometimes, I&#8217;ll put an example next time I remember how someone used it<\/li>\n<li>Cheers rather than thank you or just kind of used generally for things<\/li>\n<li>They are confused when you refer to a handle of liquor<\/li>\n<li>D&amp;M &#8211; deep and meaningful, usually referring to drunk conversations. I&#8217;m supposed to bring this back to the states by order of Nick<\/li>\n<li>Reckon &#8211; I reckon I sound funny when I use reckon but I&#8217;ve started doing it anyway. It&#8217;s contagious.<\/li>\n<li>Soz rather than sorry<\/li>\n<li>Dingo woop woop &#8211; the middle of nowhere\/Timbuktu<\/li>\n<li>Tea &#8211; dinner<\/li>\n<li>I could go an iced coffee right now rather than I could go for an iced coffee<\/li>\n<li>Munted &#8211; wrecked<\/li>\n<li>Dodgy &#8211; sketchy<\/li>\n<li>assume sounds like ashume, not really slang but I think it&#8217;s kind of funny<\/li>\n<li>Uggs can be Uggies<\/li>\n<li>Eskie &#8211; cooler<\/li>\n<li>Budgie smuggler &#8211; speedo (yes, I&#8217;ve actually heard this used in real life)<\/li>\n<li>Knackered &#8211; worn out, tired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Things I&#8217;ve been called (mostly by Birnie):<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Sheila<\/li>\n<li>Bahz<\/li>\n<li>Mate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Water polo things:<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>They don&#8217;t use weak, like weak side strong side, as a thing to yell in a game<\/li>\n<li>Tumble turn &#8211; flip turn<\/li>\n<li>Center forward\/other random things, they don&#8217;t seem to call it set at all, guys might call it set more than the girls do according to Nick<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s a bounce shot and not a skip shot, someone said a skip is only if it does multiple bounces but I haven&#8217;t heard anyone actually use that<\/li>\n<li>They shout &#8220;extra&#8221; for an exclusion rather than &#8220;we&#8217;re up&#8221; and it isn&#8217;t man up<\/li>\n<li>Balking rather than faking, although I think people know what I mean when I say faking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Things People Don&#8217;t Use:<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>No one has said anything about shrimp on the barbie.
