Portraiture in The Contemporary Environment. For next week, applying a creative approach to Portraiture, you should seek out two subjects to work with (one should be a friend or a relative that you know fairly well; the other subject should be someone that you do not know well – a neighbor, co-worker, other student, someone you recently met, someone you would like to meet, or a total stranger).  You need to arrange these two shoots ahead of time to give the subject and yourself some time to prepare.

I asked my friends Seth and Pat to help me with this. I know Seth from dance (we met at a Fusion exchange in Montreal) and I know Pat because he works at my climbing gym. They were wonderful and let me take so many pictures of them and told me lots of stories!
