Not too much to report today. Sharna picked us up this morning ( I slept until 10 am! I have defeated jet lag?) and took us on a quick walking tour of campus and the city. It was pretty fun and I’m excited about getting started with our orientation tomorrow. After that we went shopping for some more essentials. Then we wandered back to campus to take a swing dance lesson. I had fun pretending to be a lead and helping people and then had an awesome dance with the teachers. They told me about an event going on tonight but I am sleepy so I’m not there. Also didn’t particularly want to go alone and Jenn didn’t seem the most excited about it. Instead, we Finally bought some groceries, went home, made some burritos, and then cleaned the kitchen. It took us about 3-4 hours but it is now Sanitary! Like I won’t be afraid of dying of Ebola virus or something. Which is fantastic. Although apparently cleaners are coming tomorrow cause our apartment mate (Mark, from Sri Lanka and his cool girlfriend whose name I can’t remember) talked to the desk about how bad it was. Oh well! It was kind of fun. But we have a clean kitchen! And that’s what counts.

Also, people were dancing in an intersection with an all-way stop for street crossing every time the traffic stopped. It was pretty fantastic. I want to do that sometime. 🙂

Jenn and I with an ENORMOUS shopping bag (see Kyle, whole word capped for emphasis. Happy? 🙂 )
